Art Project # 1: Make A Gutenburg Beard (sort of like a Halloween costume for your face :-) and wear it at school.
I would even suggest the entire class make Gutenburg beards or variations on colorful mustaches (as cookies to eat, etc.)
to all wear on the same day at school, as part of a Gutenburg Celebration and/or Week-long Festival that fills your classrooms
and hallways with Printed Texts and Arts and have a School Assembly Show Celebrating the Printed Word and Printed Arts.
Simply go to Google Images Search and type in "beards"...BTW, the boy's black mustache is an edible cookie he made...
which he eventually got to eat as a treat...
Now do you think you can have a "Make a Cookie Mustache Day" in your Classroom...? I do like all the colorful ones :-)
